Dolan Middle School is a City of Stamford Public School. It is located in southwestern Connecticut. Founded in 1948, nestled in a hard-working residential area of  Stamford, Dolan has evolved over the years from a traditional junior high to its present-day school, emphasizing middle school curriculum. The model is designed to assist students to continue significant academic learning, to develop a better understanding of self, and to become more productive members of their community. During this period of rapid growth, our school seeks to broaden the interests of students and move from dealing primarily with concrete operations to levels of abstracting and hypothesizing.
