Stamford Public Schools District Goals

The Board of Education of the Stamford Public Schools has established the following five goals. They provide direction to the Superintendent and staff to ensure that all students have access to a well-rounded education that promotes their academic development, citizenship and social-emotional well-being. Through a community-wide strategic planning process that will be completed in the fall of 2006, comprehensive measures of progress towards these goals will be developed. Progress will be publicly reported on a quarterly basis. These goals underpin the Board of Education’s efforts to establish accountability for student results.
