Message from our Principal...Ms. Tourse
Greetings to all of our parents:
This year has gotten off to a busy, yet productive start! I am so pleased to inform you that our students are getting compliments from every corner: guest speakers, new parents, faculty, even our cafeteria staff has taken notice of how well-adjusted, ready-to-learn and pleasant Dolan students are! It is clear that these tendencies always begin at home, so kudos to our parents and guardians who have been so diligent in preparing your children for this school year--it shows!! We are also hopeful that some of the restructuring and our new school wide behavior management plan has something to do with supporting the continuation and growth of this very positive school culture. Please come out and support Dolan as we officially begin another great year!
Also, this week, you should have received a letter and flyer announcing the district forum on School Governance Councils. All parents and staff are urged to attend. This is an important and timely topic which we hope you will become involved/informed.
Reminder!!! Most students have returned their forms from opening day: registration, email sign-up, health forms, lunch requests, etc. Unfortunately, some are still out. If you have not returned your child's forms, please do so, right away! This information is critical, especially in an emergency situation.
Finally, I wish to, again, thank our staff and students for their commitment to starting off this rather unique opening with a determination to make everything go smoothly! I am proud of the hard work put forth by all!
